 With 100% Organically Grown Ingredients!
The Organic Feed Company is delighted to announce
that with immediate effect, all the organic animal and poultry feeds
within its range are now being produced with 100% Organically Grown Ingredients.
In the past, difficulties in sourcing certain organic ingredients
meant that EU regulations permitted up to 20% non-organic ingredients
in some feeds. Changes have however recently been made to EU regulations
to reduce the percentage of non-organic ingredients permitted within
an organic feed. The leading organic licensing body, The Soil Association
has recently issued new standards, making 85% the new minimum standard
for poultry and pigs and 90% the standard for herbivores. However
the Organic Feed Company has gone one step further than this new legislation
to develop a range of formulations for its poultry and livestock feeds with 100% Organically grown ingredients.
In an age where food quality and the origins of our diet
are never far from consumer consciences, choosing an organic diet
for your animals or poultry is essential if you want to produce organic
meat, eggs or dairy produce.
The Organic Feed Company’s Organic Mixed Corn now contains 80%
organic wheat and 20% organic maize, while the popular Organic Layers
Pellets and other poultry feeds are made from 100% Organically Grown Ingredients.
